Privacy notice (version 2026-10-v1-draft)

Who is responsible
The AP AI Learning Portal is operated for the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS), Government of Andhra Pradesh. RTGS owns the data collected on the portal.
What we collect
- Your name and e-mail address, provided when you create an account.
- Your language preference.
- Your learning records: courses you enrol in, lessons you complete, assessment attempts and results, and certificates issued to you.
- Technical records needed to keep the service secure, such as sign-in times and security logs.
We do not ask for your Aadhaar number, caste, religion, income, health information or exact location.
Why we use it
- To run your account and track your learning progress.
- To issue certificates and let others verify them.
- To produce aggregated reports for RTGS about how courses are used and how they can be improved.
- To keep the service secure.
Learning notifications by e-mail are optional and sent only if you choose to receive them.
What others can see
Anyone who has your certificate's verification link or QR code can see your name, the course, completion date and whether the certificate is valid. They cannot see your e-mail, assessment answers or other details.
Where your data is stored
All data is stored and processed in India, in infrastructure approved by RTGS. It is not used for advertising, profiling or training AI models.
Your choices
You can change your language and notification preferences at any time. To request a copy or correction of your data, contact the helpdesk.
